Film makers Sam and Abigail Howson have brought their outstanding skills to Jellyfish to create our own in-house film/video production unit.
"We know that the value in video today isn’t just in what you make, but how it’s used to support a digital campaign" said Jellyfish CEO Rob Pierre. "Platforms like YouTube have created an ecosystem for every interest and passion. Content is becoming more diverse and audiences are becoming more sophisticated and more engaged with what they watch, so video has to reflect this. They have to be increasingly personal, more relevant, and more valuable."
"Sam and Abi will help us create hero content that will entertain and inspire, plus regularly updated video content that’s worth subscribing to and returning to."
Over the last 15 years, Sam and Abi have built a name in the industry creating expertly crafted work for the BBC, ITV, Sky and Sky Sports, the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Channel 4, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, the US-based Independent Film Channel and Red Bull.
Abi has worked extensively in the third sector, and Sam on drama documentaries, commercials, factual entertainment and reality TV. After working with celebrities such as Cate Blanchett, Sean Bean, Andy Serkis, and David Walliams, Sam and Abi’s experience will mark the beginning of a new phase for Jellyfish.
As Group Creative Director Mark Deeprose explained "To bring fresh skillsets to our accounts, to give our clients truly professional video in addition to our existing work, and to provide our creative team with a dynamic new outlet of creativity, is just hugely exciting for myself and for Jellyfish."
