We’re looking for an experienced Account Director. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader, have knowledge of all the latest channels, innovations and best practices and how they fit into a wider digital marketing strategy.


  • Work closely with Senior Management and Display to identify and develop strategic opportunities for client campaigns (new and existing clients)
  • Nurture positive, collaborative working relationships with clients, own relationships and understand client financials as they relate to JF bottom line P&L
  • Manage and monitor the production and presentation of client facing reports, studies and presentations to Jellyfish Dynamix brand standards
  • Attend and facilitate key account meetings with client and internal stakeholders
  • Achieve continuous improvement by proactively assessing Jellyfish’s working relationships, practices and methods
  • Maintain an in depth understanding of Jellyfish’s marketplace, with particular emphasis on all new and emerging initiatives
  • Manage direct reports effectively, ensuring that their individual performance is acceptable, resulting in the achievement of team KPIs
  • Take ownership for the Management Team’s development needs, ensuring that each team member has a training and personal development plan with regular appraisals
  • Ensure that the performance and conduct of the Management Team is in line with Jellyfish business processes and procedures

Skill Requirements

  • BA/BS in Marketing or related field preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience in digital marketing media management; Interactive Marketing, Marketing/Communications or Account Management
  • Experience Display and Video marketing is a must. Additional knowledge of search engine marketing ( SEM ) engagements - Paid and / or Natural (NSO / SEO) is a plus
  • Experience in digital marketing and understanding of how PPC, SEO, Database Marketing, Display Media, Analytics, all work together to achieve marketing goals of clients.
  • Previous accountability for annual billings in excess of $7.5m
  • In-depth knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in running campaigns
  • Google Fundamentals and Advanced Qualifications
  • Practitioner experience with the Google Display and Video Marketing Platform, along with Campaign Manger (formerly DBM/DCM)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Thorough understanding of marketing new media techniques, as well as understanding of overall marketing strategy and integrated communications
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Strong business writing skills and ability to produce high quality documents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly influencing and listening skills.
  • Flexible, versatile and able to cope well under pressure
