The Role

Responsible for the strategy and efficient day to day management of assigned client accounts, focusing on strategic and
tactical implementation of SEO and Social campaigns.

 

Explores opportunities and facilitates integration within all available marketing channels (e.g. PPC, display, email and
social media) with particular emphasis on innovative initiatives.

  • Working closely with Account Managers to communicate campaign strategy, progress and results.
  • Assisting with the compilation of campaign reports.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of SEO and Social campaigns.
  • Produce Keyword Research, Technical, Content, Link and Social Audits - Analysis and Documentation
  • Make recommendations to clients regarding optimisation, or implement directly when appropriate.
  • Work closely with Account Directors and Account Manager to develop integrated Paid, Owned, and Earned strategy.
  • Project managing all of the activity and processes required to proficiently run SEO & Social campaigns.
  • Producing client facing reports, studies and presentations to Jellyfish brand standards.
  • Increase your own, and the agency’s, knowledge in the field of SEO & Social Media.
  • Working closely with the Head of SEO to plan natural search campaigns and deliver excellent SEO service to clients.
  • Nurture and develop relationship with clients for day-to-day requirements of search campaigns.
  • Analysing the performance of campaigns, identifying strategic opportunities, facilitating change in order to hit and exceed client expectations and KPIs.
  • Provide SEO training to internal teams and clients
  • Develop a high level of marketing, online marketing and in particular search engine marketing expertise.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and all applicable technologies, including developments in – SEO, Social Media,
  • Analytics, Online marketing, E-commerce and online consumer behaviour.
  • Achieving continuous improvement by proactively assessing Jellyfish’s practices and methods.
  • Maintaining an in depth understanding of Jellyfish’s marketplace, with particular emphasis on all new and emerging initiatives.

Skill Requirements

  • An in-depth knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in running SEO campaigns (including HTML/CSS/HTTP/JavaScript/Google Webmaster Tools).
  • Knowledge of Web Server configuration and Server Side scripting languages desirable
  • 2 years’ experience in digital marketing and demonstrated experience of SEO and Social campaign managementand implementation
  • A good understanding of Google analytics, other web analytics, buzz tracking and sentiment analysis packages
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Is commercially astute, identifies and suggests opportunities to the Company Directors
  • Possesses strong business writing skills and able to produce high quality documents
  • Demonstrates a structured and methodical way of working, with the ability to cope with competing demands and effectively prioritise tasks
  • Exhibits a high level of attention to detail
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills, particularly influencing and listening skills
  • Possesses strong customer telephone and face to face skills
  • Is a confident and articulate presenter
  • Proven ability to proficiently chair meetings
  • Possesses the requisite Project Management skills required to ensure seamless standards of service and delivery
  • Possesses strong software skills that support the delivery of high quality client facing documents
