Three new Google AdWords features to look out for right now

PPC Director, Matt Read, shares the latest on remarketing, upgrading your URLs and Google Sponsored Promotions (GSP) - to ensure you are equipped with the latest knowledge for up and coming campaigns.

Upgraded URLs
Time's running out to move over to the new upgraded URLs system.
On the 1st of July, people will start automatically updating everything to the new Final URL.
Before this time, you need to make sure:

  • You don't have any redirects in your ads 
  • Your Final URL and your Display URL match

Google Sponsored Promotions (GSP)
Google Sponsored Promotions are finally making their way into the Adwords interface.
This means no more logging into a separate area to see them and greater control over the activity.
Since we've started moving them into Adwords itself, we've seen loads more impressions and a lot more clicks from it.

Remarketing List for Search Ads (RLSA)
Google Analytics data is now available for Remarketing List for Search Ads.
This means Remarketing for Search is no longer limited to just people who've seen certain pages.
Now you can import all your data from Google Analytics so you can start targeting remarketing based on your own unique criteria.

It opens up a whole new world for remarketing for search.
