As Jellyfish’s Head of Paid Social you will be responsible for leading, developing, and growing Jellyfish’s US paid social team. You will bring leadership, clear structure, and methodology to our paid social team, crafting how to utilize social across single-service or integrated digital marketing campaigns, and developing and growing a high performing team of paid social superstars.

Responsibilities

  • Support Jellyfish’s vision and act as a senior member of the paid social team, guiding their professional development and growing their understanding of paid social
  • Work alongside other Directors to develop, define, and continually evolve Jellyfish’s paid social proposition as well as contribute to clear growth plans for social media, identify commercial opportunities with existing clients, and collaborate with agency leads in capitalizing upon them
  • Function as our champion and expert across paid social, while pro-actively building your own personal brand to external peers and brands
  • Contribute to measurable success in growing our revenue through acquisition of new clients
  • Support the business development team with pitches and developing the paid social team so they too can contribute to participating in and winning new client pitches
  • Support the wider departments to improve their understanding of paid social
  • Be a senior escalation point for clients and manage key stakeholder relationships
  • Contribute to QBRs and strategic reviews
  • Drive forward campaign strategy and researching potential marketing channels, analyzing competitors, and adopting a robust test & learn approach
  • Facilitate high value social campaigns through all available social media marketing platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snap Chat, etc.) with an emphasis on innovation and ROI

Skill Requirements

 

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Experience with larger budgets, $10MM+ annually preferred
  • 7-10 years’ of paid social media marketing experiment, 4+ management experience
  • Paid Social strategy, planning, and execution at an enterprise level on large and often complex campaigns
  • Experience with working with media planners and the ability to respond to briefs
  • Experience with working with creative teams to influence content so it delivers meaningful business outcomes through paid social
  • Highly experienced in working across integrated digital marketing campaigns that may require cross-channel collaboration with PPC, SEO, Display, Content Marketing, and CRM teams
  • In-depth knowledge of the technology and processes involved in running high-spending paid social campaigns
  • Experienced in measuring and proving the value of social media within digital campaigns
