The Role

There is an expectation that the Social Media Specialist will provide an exceptional level of social insight through research, best-in-class campaign management and delivery and showcase emerging thought-leadership at a practitioner level.

 

The Social Media Specialist is key in implementing client strategy and execution of campaign tasks and upholding the highest professional standards to deliver projects on time in full, as well as being a champion of the social department both internally and externally.

 

The Social Media Specialist reports directly to the Director of Social Media.

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management of client accounts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat and Pinterest.
  • Content ideas and production in line with client objective and target audience motivations.
  • Monthly performance reporting, using social media analytics and third-party platforms.
  • Monthly online listening reporting using Brandwatch. Extracting trends and opportunities for clients on social media inline with the brand objective.
  • Playing a part in growing and building Jellyfish’s social media team proposition.
  • Managing time and workload, ability to focus on priorities whilst delivering on time in full.
  • New business & pitch support when needed.

Experience Required

  • Strong knowledge and passion of social media platforms and managing social channels.
  • Experience in social media and campaign management.
  • Third party social media management tools.
  • Content ideation and copywriting in line with client objectives and target audience motivations.
  • Strong analytical skills for reporting and making sense of large data sets.
  • Experience with online/social listening tools (preferably Brandwatch).
  • Experience of using Google Analytics.
  • Working directly with clients; meetings, presentations, written communication
  • Strong use of Google products (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Slides).
