The Role

Jellyfish’s Paid Social team is seeing tremendous growth and we have a great opportunity to join this dynamic team. The Senior Paid Social Specialist will execute and deliver paid social strategies and efficient day to day management of assigned client accounts, focusing on gross profit growth.  


Key Responsibilities include executing, optimizing and reporting on best-in-class paid social media campaigns through available social media marketing platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat, etc) with emphasis on innovative initiatives, and working closely with the Senior Manager, Client Services and agency wide teams to communicate campaign strategy, progress and results.


  • Leading the campaign strategy, researching potential marketing channels, analyzing competitors, and adopting a robust test & learn approach.
  • Critically analyzing the performance of campaigns, identifying strategic opportunities, facilitating change to hit and exceed client expectations and KPIs
  • Produce client-facing reports, studies and presentations including measuring forecasts vs actual and clearly articulating rationale for optimization methodologies throughout campaigns.
  • Managing relationships with advertising partners and communicating account strategy, budgets, and performance.
  • Proactively contribute and support the social team with research, insight and support around datasets that lead to effective cross-channel media strategies and tactics.
  • Train other members of the team, where required, on best practice paid social campaign execution
  • Create tailored and up-to date processes and frameworks to facilitate the growing use of paid social.
  • Work to ensure best practices are being utilized in all areas in line of paid social products and processes
  • Collaborate and support the development and implementation of paid social media measurement frameworks and KPIs

Skill Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in Paid Social Media, strategizing, managing and executing campaigns
  • An in-depth knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in running Paid Social campaigns
  • Facebook Blueprint certified; Google Advertising Fundamentals Exam; Google Analytics understanding  a plus
  • Possesses strong business writing skills and able to produce high quality documents
  • Demonstrates a structured and methodical way of working, with the ability to cope with competing demands and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Possesses the Project Management skills required to ensure seamless standards of service and delivery
  • Highly analytical and data driven; High level of attention to detail
