Hi there, my name is Aislinn and I'm the lead analytics trainer and advocate, delivering Analytics courses here at Jellyfish. What I love about my role is that no two days are the same! I have the autonomy to try new teaching methods and content as well as to develop new courses - such as the GA 360 Suite course.
My interest in analytics developed somewhat by chance. When I started in Google on the AdWords team I was placed in the technical team that supported AdWords clients with Google Analytics. Once I realised that we could use Google Analytics data to advise clients on what was (or wasn't) working with their marketing efforts and where new opportunities might lie, I was hooked. It fundamentally changed how we upsold AdWords as a team. That might seem obvious now but data-driven marketing was a relatively new concept at the time! From there, I went on to work with some of the largest advertisers and publishers in Europe as an Account Lead on the Google Analytics 360 team in London. My focus on the 360 team was on building client awarenesss of how best to action their GA audience segments through using Analytics 360 as a "soft DMP" to power remarketing campaigns.
I love to travel and I'm partial to a good roadtrip - whether it be at home in Ireland or down the Californian coast! I'm a hiking enthusiast and love to get out of the city and up into the mountains or to the coast as often as possible. My partner and I recently trekked in the Souther Patagonian Ice Field and were lucky enough to see the glacier calving!
