Rejuvenating a family insurance brand with new identity, website and content strategy

Staveley Head is family owned and operated insurance broker specialising in commercial vehicle, business, personal, home and travel insurance.

Established in 1991 Staveley Head has built and maintained its relationships with UK’s top insurers allowing them to provide customers with market leading rates.

Staveley Head came to Jellyfish as they wanted to move their business to the next level and felt a new website and new identity would do the trick. We tended to agree.

The brief

Jellyfish was tasked to redesign and redevelop the Staveley Head site. Taking the existing site, migrating it to the new site and refreshing the brand identity.

Collectively, Jellyfish and the client set the following objectives for this project:

  • To redesign and redevelop the Staveley Head site with a new look and feel and tone of voice.
  • To optimize the site making friendly for organic search and focusing on increasing visibility YoY.
  • To create a new brand identity to drive Staveley Head’s business forward and achieve business goals.

The solution

Jellyfish worked to understand the existing brand and create a strategy to refresh the brand, it’s identity, tone of voice and then supporting content to ensure the new site drove engagement and business leads for Staveley Head.

This involved creating a new look and feel and also creating videos showcasing the ‘real people’ that Staveley Head insure on a daily basis.

Jellyfish migrated the old site to the new site and restructured the IA to improve the user journey and navigability. Jellyfish developed the tone of voice for the brand and the copy and composed all the copy throughout the site adding the tone that was established.

Once the site was launched, Jellyfish continued to work on the SEO visibility for Staveley Head. This work is ongoing trying to improve key ranking areas.
